Abstract: The article evaluates methods for the calculation of voltage surges occurring in the power source test facility at the primary testing automatic DC circuit breakers. The schemes of modular connection of ballasts are built and the simulation model of the loading process is designed. In addition, the comparative data for calculation and simulation results are provided, confirming the accuracy of the used methods.
