Annotation: Research on possible using of the air gap, that appears as a result of an assembly of a symmetric directional coupler based on irregular offset strip lines, to adjust its frequency response is carried out. The adjustment is produced by an additional material that is set up between main dielectric layers of the device. The main criteria to select the material were its flexibility, elasticity and dielectric permittivity.
