Abstract: The method of rapid analysis of the radiation pattern of laser diodes allows to quickly determine the mode of generation of the laser diode on the fundamental mode. It was found that for the determination of the lasing, is enough to link the coordinates of inflection points of the Gaussian curve, found by insitu measurements of the angle of radiation divergence, with the progress of the tangent to the curve at these points
