Abstract: A new technique for automated synthesis of passive microwave components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, etc.) models in the form of equivalent circuits (EC-models) is presented. An advantage of the technique is an automated definition of EC structure by model decomposition into one port subciruits and optimal choice of each subcircuit. Elements' values are determined by direct extraction and modified statistical median. As an example, GaAs thin-film resistor and SiGe BiCMOS inductor models constructing is presented
