Analysis and experimental verification of estimation method for time difference of unknown radio signals arrivals in a multipath propagation

Annotation: The analysis and statistical modeling of the estimation method for time difference for arrival of multipath signals are performed. The method of selecting the threshold level to estimate the width of channel pulse response is proposed. The precision characteristics of the proposed method are obtained by simulation. Results of the experimental data processing obtained by reception of signals of the terrestrial three-centimeter range radio source are described.
