Annotation: The problems of Zero-order hold devices as part of the adaptive measuring and discrete-continuous process control systems are considered. It is shown that depending on the input signal properties (increment value and speed) the modification in a certain way of quantization step time is suitable for maintaining a desired accuracy of approximation or implementation high-speed limit performance of extrapolator. The model of Zero-order hold devices with variable quantization step time is offered because in the common integrated environments of scientific and engineering computing (MatLab/Simulink, Octave and others) are lacking the ways to study adaptive measuring and control systems in the conditions of quantization step time change. The results of modeling in MatLab/Simulink, which can be the basis for the synthesis and analysis of adaptive measuring and control systems, are presented.
