Abstract: This work is devoted to one of the little-studied methods of biometric authentication that is capable of correctly recognizing externally identical people with a high degree of probability. As part of this work, identical twins are be recognized from their thermographic images using the Siamese neural network. Requirements for obtaining thermograms using a thermal imager have been formulated. A working dataset has been compiled.
