Abstract: The paper considers the problem of optical mechanics scanning systems designed on the basis of a double-phase induction motor operating in stepwise, oscillatory, and pulsating modes. The paper presents the functional diagram of the electric drive control system as well as the laws of electromagnetic field variation in an air gap of the motor at different operating modes which provide a high coordinate accuracy.
