Simulation of metal plate shielding effectiveness for airborne equipment of space vehicle

Abstract: Shielding effectiveness of electric, magnetic and electromagnetic fields in frequency band 10 kHz–10 GHz for alumina and magnesium plates with 1,5–4,0 mm thickness for different distances from source to plate is calculated. Simulation results useful for shielding effectiveness estimations of airborne equipment of space vehicles are given.
