Compensation of imbalance in vector modulators

Annotation: Vector modulator is an important part of modern telecommunication systems. The quality of the received signal depends on vector modulator parameters. The imbalance of amplitude and phase in the quadrature components is one of the main parameters, which introduce the greatest contribution to the error vector magnitude (EVM). Compensation of the quadrature imbalance can significantly improve performance of the telecommunication system. In the article we describe the methods of finding phase and gain error rate.
