Abstract: The article is devoted to the development of methodological support for an automated system that allows carrying scientific research on the survivability of flooded gas wells. A model of the gas production system survivability under conditions of well flooding is proposed. It includes a «reservoir-well» model, a model of adverse effects of flooding, a model of physical processes, a model of primary flooding consequences, a model of means of ensuring survivability, a model of the primary flooding consequences development, a calculation unit indicators of survivability and a database for working with initial data and simulation results. Based on the analysis of existing approaches to assessing the survivability of technical systems, the coefficient of gas production system survivability under flooding conditions has been developed. It depends on the properties of performance, resource intensity when using technologies to combat flooding in wells. A criterion for choosing the best means of ensuring the survivability of a flooded gas well is proposed, taking into account the parameters of the reservoir, well design and equipment, and gas flow rate.
