Abstract: The paper describes the construction of a planar near-field scanner and shows the examples of amplitude and phase distributions analysis using this scanner. The analysis was carried out for two types of lens antennas. It is shown that the developed scanner can help effectively to identify the causes of poor antenna performance during design process.
