Annotation: A mathematical method of determining the possibility of unauthorized access to confidential information is given. The method is based on mathematical approaches involved in determining the probability of an attacker access to confidential information and the likelihood of disclosure of confidential information. It is assumed that confidential information is distributed over a finite number of elements that are part of an automated information system.
