Abstract: The possibilities and perspectives of rank tests to detect differences in relation to specific problems of technical, organizational and computer security are shown. The methods are classified by situations of dependent and independent samples, the detectable differences in the parameters of position and scale. The presentation is illustrated by examples of professional content.
