The estimation of radio source positioning by means of the range-difference method using the multiposition passive satellite system

Annotation: The authors propose an iterative algorithm for estimation of radio sources coordinates by means of the range-difference method using the multi position passive satellite system. We have simulated the coordinate positioning algorithm. We have defined the requirements to the satellite orbit altitude and to the distance between the satellites for the small satellites group. We have estimated the accuracy of signal arrival time, which is necessary to achieve the required accuracy in positioning.
